Ben Nelson

Watching Ben Nelson very closely here in Nebraska. He is doing his best to play the triangulation routine. You know, where they pretend to be all torn between two sides of any issue. Nelson is currently pretending to be all upset about abortion funding in the government destroyed healthcare bill. Apparently the rest of this monstrosity is perfectly fine. Then when the bill passes without him, he has a pass to claim ignorance of what was going on. The Omaha World Herald has already served notice on E. Benjamin twice now that a no vote at the end when only 51 votes are required will not absolve him of any favorable votes during the "conference". He's clearly hoping to set it up just that way though. Not to fear. Senator 51% knows he is on thin ice trying to walk this phony dilemma between "all" sides.

The Huckster

Mike Huckabee is finished. He has been fully exposed as a full blown big government man. The Bible calls on us to have government health care, calls on us to release as many prisoners as possible, calls on us to have a national smoking law. Nowhere in the Huckster's record do we find any real interest in limited government. No one in law enforcement has any use for him. So much for "tough on crime". He sees his mission in life as the saving of souls. He believes as does the Catholic church that our justice system is "based" on "punishment and vengeance." Never mind accountability, consequences for actions, and the most important duty of all: protection of the public from barbarians like Maurice Clemmons. For him to feign ignorance of the indicators of this man's future dangerousness is just pathetic. He is no conservative. You Hucksters out there are wasting your time.

Where did Michael Steele come from?

After Michael Steele showed his true colors on CNN a few weeks ago, his stock dropped dramatically. After reading his interview in GQ last week, this man has got to go. I had no idea what an utter fool he is. He's obviously incapable of articulating any conservative principles because he obviously doesn't have any. Who is he trying to impress with his chic little drive-by media rounds? He obviously doesn't have any time to spend rebuilding the party with actual hard work. Like, for starters, ending the abomination of open primaries, not to mention ending election month. Pre-voting is the bread and butter of the vote fraud specialists at Obamacorn.
I will not give a penny to the RNC as long as this man heads it.

Buckpac History

I suppose I should clarify that I titled this in honor of the late great William F. Buckley. One day long ago, in 1988 to be precise, Mr. Buckley founded a political action committee known as "BuckPac". The committee had one objective: the defeat of an utterly useless senator from Connecticut who called himself a Republican, Lowell Weicker. Buckley reasoned that it would be better for the Republican party to lose the seat altogether than to have it continue to be held by a Republican fraud. The committe prevailed. Politics being what they are, the victor still holds that seat today. Joe Lieberman lives on, and at least for awhile, he tormented his own party to some extent. Unfortunately, he appears to have done his penance and is now back in the good graces of the Democrats.

The theory of BuckPac needs to be revisited today. Starting with the elimination of the three Democrats from Pennsylvania and Maine, starting with former congressman Pat Toomey knocking off Arlen Specter in the Republican primary in 2010. This simply must happen.

Introduction

Just beginning to try my hand in the blogosphere. Very open to feedback of the constructive variety, preferably with lots of praise no matter what, kind of like for a first grader. My self-esteem is very fragile.
